harden-tools software package provides Tools to enhance or analyze the security of the local system, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install harden-tools
harden-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the harden-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep harden-tools *
You will get with harden-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
